Hotel Añaterve
The historical building was built by a large landowner at the start
of the last century. It was confiscated and used as a barrack
by the government, because of its strategic location in the village
and on the island. In the village it is still known as
Quartel Antigua (the old barrack).
Hotel Añaterve has been carefully renovated recently and offers both
an authentic style and modern comfort. The spacious rooms have been designed
with careful detailing and have a
beautiful view. |

In
the restaurant you can have breakfast, lunch or dinner, with a
view on an old winepress from the original Casa de Vino from 1900.
The hotel has a
big roof terrace, a flowery garden and a library with a lot of information
on the island and a good selection of books.
We strive for a small-scale rural hotel with respect
for nature and the environment, an accomodation fitting for what
La Gomera means: nature, quiet, rough and beautiful. |
